Erodita Agard-Anderson

Guidance Counselor

Erodita Agard- Anderson is an educator and has garnered much acclaim for her role in providing youth with financial literacy skills. Working in education since she was 14, Erodita is now a Guidance Counselor who began her career in an alternative school working with at-risk students who were not on track to graduate.

In addition to focusing on postsecondary readiness with students, she is extremely passionate about educating youth on the importance of Financial Literacy. It was this passion that led Erodita to start facilitating Financial Literacy workshops at the Boys and Girls Club. Her notable work was recognized and she was then selected to facilitate and implement Financial Literacy workshops in an after-school program in a high school.

In an effort to make financial literacy fun and tangible for students, Erodita created a savings challenge. After it was successful, she sought to make the savings challenge and 12 fundamental financial literacy topics accessible to all youth.

This is the inspiration that led to the creation of

My 12 Envelopes: A Quick Guide to Credit Scores, Saving, Budgeting, & Entrepreneurship

In addition to introducing youth to 12 fundamental financial literacy topics, this guide also includes 12 envelopes, three savings templates, and a deposit tracker form.

The P2P Power2Plan Student Planner is Erodita’s first self-published work. This planner includes a savings challenge and quickly ranked #1 in the Academic & Counseling category on Amazon!
